 Newest Team Member

 

 We are very excited to announce that Ashley Johnston has been officially endorsed by her church Greenacres MBC, Bossier City, LA as a short term missionary to work with us here in Kenya. She will be primarily teaching our children home school but she will also be involved in the ministry work as well. Ashley is planning to join us on the field the second week of July and staying with us for the entire school year. Please pray for Ashley, her family, and her church as they step out in faith.

Ashley has been working as a full time teacher for the past 6 years and she is leaving her job to follow the Lord's calling on her life. Please pray for this one year commitment that God will use her greatly and show her what He wants for her in the future. This could be the step that will lead into full time missions or it may be a year for God to use Ashley in the work her on the coast.  No matter what the future is I am sure that God will work through Ashely and we are so glad that she is sacrificing her will for His. I firmly believe,"No one ever regrets trying something great for God."   

Ashley has served as an intern here on the coast of Kenya the past two summers so she is no stranger to the work here. Our family knows Ashley very well and we are so blessed to have her come to work along side us.  We would highly recommend and would ask churches to consider supporting Ashley as she joins our ministry team. Ashley writes a blog and will be posting to it while she is here to keep everyone posted on how the Lord is using her.  Even now you can read of her past two summers as an intern.
